Healthcare is a business field which is expected to grow in coming decades. Especially promising are the technologies to make healthcare more efficient while increasing the quality. Computer-aided diagnosis through machine learning is a highly anticipated business area that draws attentions from many companies and researchers. However, most such activities are based on non-image medical records. AnatomyWorks is focusing on an enabling technology that converts heterogeneous and unstructured image-based data into structured matrices such that a vast imaging data can be incorporated into the advanced medical information management. Especially for the brain MRI field, we would like to be the leader of the software and resource development for the image analysis and interpretation through two key components; knowledge database and image structurization technology. Our business model is based on a cloud architecture through which company and research users submit their data for automated analysis.
